Louis Waldon eventually moved to California where he produced silkscreens that sampled Warhol's imagery. An exhibition of his paintings took place at The Grind Gallery in Mar Vista from February 13 - March 20, 2009. Comparing his silkscreened works to those of Warhol, Louis once said: "You can't tell the difference... They look better. Andy didn't really know what he was doing." (CL) According to his obituary in the New York Times, Waldon died on Friday, 6 December 2013.
