Andy Warhol and Paulette Goddard

Paulette Goddard had been working on a book of her life story with Anita Loos - The Perils of Paulette. But when Paulette complained about Anita to Warhol, Andy asked Paulette if she would like to do a book with him instead, as he was tape recording her all the time anyway. She agreed but the book never materialized because Paulette was not forthcoming enough with gossip about the people she had worked with.

The book was to be called Her. Warhol received a $50,000 advance which he split 50/50 with Paulette and gave Bob Colacello 10% of his half for his help with the project. (BC209)
