National Gallery's Duchamp exhibition in 1991.
Performing artist Istvan Kantor was arrested at the Andy Warhol Super Nova exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario on August 3, 2006 after spreading "blood" on the floor, rolling around in it and stripping off with a vial of blood attached to his penis while reading a manifesto. In 1991 the National Gallery in Canada took out a restraining order on the artist who proudly proclaims on his website that he is "banned from most museums around the world."
