PAUL MORRISSEY IN MIAMI BEACH
Paul Morrissey will be presenting Trash at the Gusman Theater in Miami Beach on Saturday December 4, 2004 in conjunction with the Miami International Film Festival. The event is part of the Art Basel exhibition taking place in Miami on December 2nd - 5th. Art Basel Miami Beach is the "sister" event of Art Basel in Switzerland. The exhibit will feature a selection of works from more than 175 international galleries by more than 1000 artists. Opening night events on December 1st will include a free performance by the Scissor Sisters at Collins Park (opposite the boardwalk) from 10 - 11 pm, followed by an all-nighter at the Art Lounge at the Shore Club Hotel Skybar. PATRICK MCMULLAN IN SOUTH BEACH
Photographer Patrick McMullan will be hosting an Andy Warhol tribute at the M Lounge in South Beach on Saturday, December 4, 2004 - the same night that Paul Morrissey will be presenting Trash as part of the Art Basel show in Miami Beach. The M Lounge - a "sleek building-within-a-building" sponsored by Moët & Chandon - will open at 1116 Lincoln Road for three nights of performance art. The Warhol tribute will take place 9:00 - 11:30 pm. IVY NICHOLSON IN NEW YORK
Ivy Nicholson is currently in New York to direct scenes for her new movie, The Dead Life. Filming will take place throughout the month of November and is based on a concept the former model, painter and singer has had for over three decades. Ms. Nicholson was a Factory regular who appeared in numerous Warhol films including Batman Dracula, Couch, 13 Most Beautiful Women, John and Ivy, **** (Four Stars), I A Man as well as a Screen Test. She currently resides in Montana but has returned temporarily to New York for the filming.
